7 great natural home cleaners

clean-homeSometimes there are some stains that simply take a lot of time to get washed; with finally not a very satisfying result. However, in your kitchen you have natural weapons to make it easier for you.

1 – Rice

It can be used to clean the inside of a vase or a bottle. Fill 3/4 with warm water and add a tablespoon of rice. Shake energetically, then rinse.

2 – Lemon

One of the strongest food acids, effective against most household bacteria. The acid in lemon juice removes dirt and rust stains. It’s especially effective when mixed with salt.

3 – Vinegar

It’s a known disinfectant that can sanitize and remove stains, mildew and odors. It shouldn’t be used on acetate fabrics or stone surfaces.

4 – Black Tea

It’s a an excellent way to clean your windows. The tannic acid in black tea acts as a cleaning agent to dissolve dirt and grease. It’s also a great cleaner of your hardwood floors.

5 – Ketchup

It easily removes tarnish from cookware (copper and brass). Simply squeeze it onto a cloth and rub it on pans and pots. Use warm water to rinse, then use a towel to dry.

6 – Cornstarch

It can be use to clean grease spills on carpets. Pour it onto spots, let sit for 20 minutes, then vacuum.

7 – Baking soda

Acts as a natural occurring agent, and is considered as a deodorizer and a cleanser. It can be used on nearly every surface all around the house.
